Stinky Pants in Review

WOW.

I have known for quite some time now just how fast time flies by. Seeing my little Stinky Booty Butt growing everyday, developing and learning just amazes me to no end. But, there is just something about seeing these 3 pictures side by side that seems to really make it seem more final that our little girl is not a baby anymore. She has gone from looking like our little pet spider monkey to a grown up little girl all in the matter of two short years.

Time for me to go cry.

2-Year Photo Shoot Already?

Gosh, can you believe that we have already been to see my friend Cassi, owner of Sassafras Photography, for our 2-year pictures? It seems like just yesterday that my water broke all over the place in front of 1000's of people!

Here are some pictures from Princess Stinky's Photo Shoot. As always, they turned out wonderful and made it very difficult for me to choose!

You can check out the rest of Cassi's awesome work here at: http://www.sassafrasphotography.com

Snow Fun...

The hubbs planned a fun-filled weekend camping bonanza for us and the 'ole Stinkster over the New Year's Holiday Weekend. We set up camp at Stone Mountain, and boy was it COLD! To add to the fun we purchased tickets to their famous Snow Mountain, where they pump in tons of water from their lake to cover all of Memorial Lawn. It really was a cool sight to see!

So there we were in the freezing cold. I had Stinky bundled up from head to toe in so many different layers that it is a wonder she could still walk! Seriously, it took me AT LEAST 15 minutes to get her all dressed.

Not 5 minutes later, guess what our sweet, little, Precious Stinky did???

yep, she WENT STINKY.

Cuss...
Undress...
Cuss...
Wipe...
Cuss...
Wipe Some More...
Cuss...
Re-dress...

and...

After AT LEAST ANOTHER 15 minutes of re-dressing, we were finally off to play in the snow...
(no, no, we REALLY were off this time!)

Only to find out...

That Princess Stinky Pants...

DOES NOT LIKE THE SNOW...

OR SLEDDING...

F.R.E.A.K.I.N.G
A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

So, we went back to the campsite and just sat inside our camper.
Snow Fun. Get it?

No lie, I literally spent more time dressing and undressing this kid than we spent at Snow Mountain.

But, we made memories.
We got some cute pictures.
We stayed warm inside our camper.

The End.

Christmas (in April?!)

Well, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with how behind I am on this whole blogging thing. I can tell you that the reason for my extended blogging vacation has certainly not been because of a lack of hilarious material from Princess Stinky Pants! So, I will start with where I left off...Christmas...and work my way into the present day.

Christmas (in April):

"Ho-Ho-Ho go Bye-Bye" for quite some time now. This is something that the Stinkster reminds me and Dad of EVERYDAY. Seriously, for a kid that was terrified of him when he was around, she is VERY concerned with the fact that she is no longer able to spot Ho-Ho-Ho.
Every morning when she wakes up we hear..."Mama? Ho-Ho-Ho go Bye-Bye?" Everyday in the car we hear, "Daddy? Ho-Ho-Ho go Bye-Bye?" Most days when we pick her up from daycare we hear, "Mama, Daddy? Ho-Ho-Ho go Bye-Bye?"
"Yes darling, Ho-Ho-Ho did go Bye-Bye, but not before he brought you a crap ton of presents!"
I predict that when Ho-Ho-Ho comes back next year he will be in a recession!

Enjoy a few Christmas pictures.

Ho-Ho-Ho!!!

Well, our Princess Stinky Pants is officially terrified of Santa Claus, or "Ho-Ho-Ho" as she likes to call him.
With that being said, this opened up quite a unique opportunity for our Christmas Card design this year, and I decided to take FULL advantage of it!

The pictures were taken by Cassi Batchelor with Sassafras Photography. You can check out her awesome work at www.sassafrasphotography.com.

The poses were ALL stictly courtesy of Stinky-Doodle-Dandy. We just pieced them together for an AWESOME card! Here is a peek:

Oh, You Better Watch Out...

You Better Not Cry...

You Better Not Pout,
I'm Telling You Why...

We'll Send Stinky Pants to Come Stay With You!
Merry Christmas 2009

I LOVE it! The cards were a big hit this year. I guess I need to go ahead and get busy trying to come up with something for NEXT year's card!

Here are a few other pictures from our Christmas shoot. I hope you enjoy!

And a Very Merry Christmas From Our Family to Yours!

The Pink Pig

An Atlanta Tradition!

A big THANKS to my friend Dodi for making us venture out past Gwinnett and go to visit The Pink Pig at Lennox Mall! Princess Stinky Pants had a very good time and stared in awe at all of the pink lights and mirrors all around her. It really was a cute idea and may have to become a tradition in our household as well!

Gettin' Our Wiggle On!

THE WIGGLES!!!

Oh, how Stinky just LOVES The Wiggles! We only have one Wiggles video, and we watch it over and over and over, continue indefinitely.

I actually don't mind The Wiggles. I don't find them irritating at all and watching the little Stink-sta-roni while she watches the videos is probably one of my favorite things to do in this whole wide world. It can pull me out of a bad mood in an instant. She smiles and laughs and claps and dances at all of the same parts every time. It just doesn't get old to her.

Stinky Pants thinks that it is just absolutely hysterical when Jeff Wiggle falls asleep. She follows true Wiggle directions and always yells at him to "Wake Up Jeff", but it actually come out sounding more like "Day Dum Biff." Hey whatever, he wakes up so I'm not going to schedule any speech therapy just yet!

SO, I got this bright idea to take little Stinky Butt to SEE The Wiggles in Concert. We invited a very good friend of mine and her little stinky boy to come along with us as our dates! What fun! The kids were so cute together. They held hands with each other on the long walk to and from the car. Neither one of them weighed enough to keep the stadium seats from folding back up on them, so they would sit together in one seat. All in all, we had a great time. My only complaint is that they should really plan the show at an earlier time in the day because I didn't realize until we were sitting there that a 1:30 pm show was RIGHT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF NAP TIME! What are they thinking? Oh that's right...they sold $9.00 beers...THAT'S what they are thinking!

What's So Stinkin' Funny?

This was one of those moments that went on and on for about 20 minutes and was just too adorable to not grab the camera for. Lucky for me the camera is waterproof so I was able to get this video clip without any worries. However, I enjoyed watching and listening to the little Stinky Butt do this so much that I wouldn't have cared if the camera was waterproof or not. This shot was THAT worth it!

Make sure your speakers are turned on.
And... I double dog dare you to try and not laugh at this!

So, what do you think that the Stinkster thought was so funny? Was it the splashing, or was it the fact that I was sitting across from her in the bathtub? I certainly know which one of those two things makes ME laugh hysterically!

Playing "Bay-Bay"

Ah, playing "Bay-Bay", or simply "Baby" as we all know it. This is the Stinkster's favorite thing to do! She will play "Bay-Bay" for hours! Most of the time she plays "Bay-Bay" with her Cabbage Patch Kid doll, little Sydney Leilani, but at other times she likes to actually BE the "Bay-Bay." I don't mind. I would actually like to keep her small as my little "Bay-Bay" forever.

Two Babies Under The Age of Two

YIKES!

Everyone always warns you to be VERY careful and make sure that you never end up with two babies under the age of two. Evidently I did not heed this warning with great attention, because alas, I am now the mommy of two babies under the ago of two.

Meet: Trigger Lee
AKA: The King of Poop
Breed: Boston Terrier
Born: August 23, 2009
Died: Coming Very Soon (If The Poop Explosions Do Not Stop)

Stinky just LOVES being a big sister, but I think that this is going to have to hold her over for a while. I just don't think we could handle three under the age of three!

Say No To...Ice Cream?

Good Lord! What is wrong with me? First I encourage the addition of a puppy to our family, and then I allow Stinky to have a chocolate ice cream cone? What a Stinking Mess! Mommyhood has turned me into a softy!

A Spooktacular Halloween!

We had a great Halloween that was jam-packed with all sorts of Spooktacular fun!

At daycare, a "Parade of Costumes" was held on Friday, the day before Halloween. This is where all of the children got to walk around and around the center showing off whatever little costumes their parents had forced them to wear that year! The hubbs and I were able to leave work early and go and walk our little Stink-Sta-Roni around for it. We had so much fun watching all of the sweet little kids proudly march around. They were all so adorable!

Evidently all of my constant Internet searching for the most hysterical costume paid off, because Princess Stinky Pants was crowned QUEEN STINKY at daycare for the costume contest! Ah, a first place prize of a tuition credit put on our account made for a good Halloween indeed!

Next on our Halloween fun list was a stop to see Mimi at the church's Fall Festival. The Stinkster was SO excited when she walked in a saw her! Stinky got to eat pizza and cookies, play in a ball pit, jump in a bounce-house, wear balloon animal hats, and she even won the ice cream walk! (although, it may have had something to do with the fact that her Aunt B was the one working the ice cream walk!)

It was a busy, busy Friday, but we had so much fun and were so happy that we got to spend time with our family.

On Halloween, we invited a couple of little Stinky's friends over to play. Imagine...a house filled with 3 Stinky Girls! They were fun to watch and they all played really well together. After playing, we had a Halloween inspired dinner, which consisted of Mummy Dogs, Monster Mouths, Goblin Fingers, Candy Corn Off the Cob, and Spider Cupcakes. Yums! The food turned out really cute, but if you ask the hubbs he will tell you that my need for perfection almost caused a divorce! And wouldn't you know it, with all of the excitement going on not a single one of the 3 Stink-Amigos ate more than a couple of bites!

After dinner, it was time for Trick-Or-Treating! The hubbs had worked very hard at creating a little hay ride for the girls to be pulled around the neighborhood on. They got to Trick-Or-Treat in true style! I wish that the weather had been better, but I can assure you that the smiles could not have been any bigger!

I am already looking forward to doing it again next year. Do you have a little Stinky? Well, bring 'em on over for some Spooktacular Fun!
